Automation Control and Regeneration Process

The automated control of the single-tank, single-valve water softening system makes the operation process easier. The control valve automatically starts the regeneration process according to the set time or water volume. The regeneration process is usually divided into the following steps:

• Backwashing stage: The resin is flushed by reversing the water flow to remove the impurities accumulated in the resin.

• Slow rinsing stage: The resin is further cleaned using a slow water flow to remove residual salt.
